Angelica Bengtsson

Angelica Therese Bengtsson (Swedish track and fields athlete) is well-known by her pole-vaulting abilities. She was the winner of the first Summer Youth Olympics, held in Singapore 2010 as the first woman to attain success in the pole vault. Bengtsson has won gold medals in the 2009 World Youth Championships and the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics. Angelica Panganiban, born on 4 November 1986, in Payatas (Quezon City) was the child of an indigenous mother from the Philippines. Her mother's birthplace was an Filipina and passed away in 2008 and is currently interred to be buried in Singapore. Mark Charlson her father hails from Iowa in the United States. Her birth father, Mark Charlson is a retired U.S. Navy man from Iowa, United States; In the late 1980's, he was on the U.S.S. O'Brien stationed in the Philippines.
